Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Mortuary Transfer Specialist to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities
- Safely and respectfully transfer deceased individuals from hospitals, homes, or other locations to the funeral home or designated facility.
- Provide compassionate bereavement support and guidance to grieving families during difficult times.
- Coordinate logistics for funeral services, including scheduling and transportation arrangements.
- Assist with event planning related to funeral services and memorial events.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving caskets or equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transfers and related activities.
- Engage in sales activities by offering additional services or products to families when appropriate.
- Ensure all transfer procedures comply with legal and health regulations while maintaining dignity and respect.
Requirements
- Prior experience in funeral directing, bereavement support, event planning, or sales is appreciated but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Compassionate demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills to support grieving families effectively.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving and criminal record is required.
