Here at Secure Parking Hawaii, we’re looking for parking lot attendants to help make the customer experience better at a few of our locations.
This is a great position for anyone with a passion for people who doesn’t mind working on their feet, and feels comfortable guiding and directing traffic movements and parking.
We’re looking for someone with strong customer service skills. No previous experience as a lot attendant necessary; there is on-the-job training.
As a Lot attendant with us, you'll mainly be responsible for directing, guiding, and controlling parking and traffic movement in and out of various access points, streets, and assigned parking areas. You’ll also need to report any hazards or troubleshoot some general problems that may arise.
You’ll be our on-the-ground representative, giving general information about parking and the property to the public in a clear and understandable way.
Duties
- Direct, guide, and control parking and traffic movement in and out of various access points, streets, and assigned parking areas.
- Communicate with parkers and guide them to assigned stalls designated for specific tenants.
- Provide a high standard of customer service and assist customers with any parking-related issues or questions.
- Maintain a positive work environment and uphold a positive company image.
- Ensure the parking lot is safe and clean at all times.
- Recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.
- Direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic using hand signals.
- Report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to management.
Experience
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to direct pedestrian and vehicular traffic using hand signals.
- Willingness to get the job done and maintain a positive attitude.
