Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Life Insurance Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling life insurance policies to individuals and businesses, helping clients protect their financial future and providing peace of mind. You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, assess their insurance needs, and offer tailored life insurance solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and engage potential clients through networking, referrals, and marketing strategies. Utilize social media, cold calling, and community outreach to build a steady pipeline of leads.
  • Client Consultation: Meet with clients to assess their life insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options. Educate clients on the different types of life insurance policies, including term life, whole life, and universal life.
  • Sales and Policy Issuance: Present and explain life insurance products to clients, emphasizing the benefits and advantages. Guide clients through the application process, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted promptly.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-lasting relationships with clients by offering ongoing support, periodic policy reviews, and ensuring client satisfaction. Stay in regular contact to ensure their needs continue to be met as their circumstances change.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and regulatory changes. Continuously improve knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting processes, and best practices.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals and performance metrics set by the company. Work toward personal and team objectives to contribute to overall company success.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure that all policies and client records comply with company standards, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Maintain accurate and organized client files.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed and achieve sales goals
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and industry regulations is a plus
  • State licensure as a Life Insurance Agent (or willingness to obtain it)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
