Responsibilities
- Act as the primary contact for new patient inquiries, providing clear information about home health services and guiding them through the intake process
- Schedule initial assessments and coordinate appointments with healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is complete and accurate before services commence
- Maintain organized records of patient interactions, intake forms, and communication logs in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with insurance authorizations and pre-authorization processes to facilitate timely service delivery
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing referral documentation
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical office setting or healthcare administrative support
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
- Office experience demonstrating proficiency with Data Soft Logic (DSL)
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and team members
