This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Independent Social Worker at our Columbus, OH location. The Licensed Independent Social Worker will provide counseling and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities, conduct assessments and develop client-centered care plans. Key responsibilities include maintaining regular communication with clients and their families, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care, and advocating for the needs and rights of clients. The role also involves documenting all client interactions, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal and programmatic standards.
- Licensure as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio
- Strong skills in counseling, assessments, and developing individualized care plans
- Experience in working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members
- Knowledge of community resources, legal guidelines, and regulatory compliance in social work settings
- Organizational and time-management abilities for maintaining proper documentation and meeting deadlines
