As a control system technician, you will be troubleshooting and identifying improvements in client control systems, diagnosing PLC and HMI programs, developing controls schematics with CAD, and performing commissioning. You will work with clients to solve industrial controls issues safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for troubleshooting industrial control systems as well as training clients in system operation at client sites
Travel to client sites around the Puget Sound area
You will assist in development of PLC and HMI programs
Troubleshoot existing industrial processes to determine root cause and determine a solution
Develop control system documentation including CAD drawings, bills of material, operation manuals, and other technical documentation
Qualifications
At least 2 years experience troubleshooting industrial control systems
- Education
Bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering is desired, but AA and experience may substitute.
- Skillset
Minimum of 3 years of experience providing similar responsibilities
Must have great electrical and system troubleshooting skills
Programming PLCs and developing HMI and SCADA applications
Rockwell Software suite programming experience:
- Studio 5000 - 2 yrs
- RSLogix 500 - 2 yrs
- CCW- 2 yrs
- FT View SE - 2 yrs
- RSNetworx - 1 yrs
Experience with other PLC and HMI platforms expected
Strong understanding of electrical theory and circuits
Other software:
- AutoCAD
- Microsoft suite
- Visual Basic
Understanding of servo systems and motion control
Industrial networking and OT
Bonus points if you have the following experience and skills:
- Network security knowledge
- VMware and virtualization
- Sales experience
- Project management
