Job Description
- Seeking an experienced Buyer to handle sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement for manufacturing operations. Must have 4–5 years in medical device manufacturing, specifically procuring electrical or mechanical components.
Key Duties
- Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts.
- Manage procurement in SAP/Oracle EBS.
- Address supply or quality issues through root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams.
- Track supplier performance and ensure compliance.
- Analyze market trends and supply risks.
- Maintain accurate records and support materials/logistics planning.
Experience
- Strong procurement background in manufacturing.
- Expertise with SAP/Oracle EBS.
- Skilled in sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Knowledge of MRP, production planning, and FAR (preferred).
- Experience with category management, logistics, and quality/materials management is a plus.
