About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Software Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales of our software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new leads through research, outreach, networking, and inbound marketing channels.
- Qualify prospects and develop them into sales opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations and software demos to prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored software solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Manage the full sales cycle - from lead generation to closing deals.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to align messaging and sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities using our CRM tool.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2 years of experience in software sales, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into value for clients.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your own schedule and pipeline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CRM software and sales enablement tools.
- Familiarity with specific industries (e.g., accounting/finance).
- Technical knowledge or background in software development or IT.
