Position Overview
SAG is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance and compliance for a federal personnel vetting contract supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA).
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Control Plan (QCP), ensuring all services are performed in accordance with contract requirements and federal standards.
Core ResponsibilitiesQuality Control Program Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP)
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with contract requirements
- Establish procedures to identify, prevent, and correct defective services
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to required standards
- Conduct internal audits and quality reviews of case processing activities
- Ensure compliance with:
- Federal Investigative Standards (FIS)
- Trusted Workforce 2.0
- NISPOM (32 CFR § 117)
- Track and report quality trends, deficiencies, and corrective actions
Deficiency Identification & Corrective Action
- Identify errors, defects, and performance gaps
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure non-recurrence
- Coordinate with leadership to resolve quality-related issues
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
- Ensure proper documentation of quality control activities and findings
- Support development and refinement of standard operating procedures
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Program Manager and operational staff on quality matters
- Provide regular reports on quality performance and compliance status
- Support Government oversight and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) requirements
Additional Duties
Responsibilities may expand or shift based on contract requirements, operational tempo, and Government direction. The selected candidate must be adaptable and prepared to support additional tasks as needed to ensure mission success.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, IT, Security, or related field)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or audit functions
- Experience supporting federal contracts or regulated environments
- Experience with:
- Quality assurance programs
- Performance monitoring and reporting
- Process improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of compliance-driven environments and documentation requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Active Tier 3 (Secret) clearance REQUIRED at time of application
- Must be eligible to obtain a Tier 5 (Top Secret) clearance
- Ability to work on-site in Boyers, PA
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting personnel vetting or security programs
- Familiarity with QCP/QASP frameworks
- Experience conducting audits or inspections in federal environments
- Lean Six Sigma or similar certification
Additional Information
- This position is contingent upon contract award
- Selected candidates will be required to sign a Letter of Commitment
- Employment is contingent upon maintaining required security eligibility
