Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Dog Trainer based in Waxahachie, TX. The Dog Trainer will be responsible for training dogs in various disciplines, conducting behavioral assessments, and providing care for the dogs during the training process. The role also involves educating handlers, developing training plans tailored to individual dogs, and assisting pet owners or handlers in addressing specific behavioral issues. Trainers will engage in hands-on work and participate in real-world training scenarios to ensure the highest level of proficiency for the dogs and their handlers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Dog Training and a strong understanding of Animal Behavior
- Skills in Pet Care and ensuring the well-being of animals
- Experience in Training and providing guidance to handlers or dog owners
- Strong Customer Service skills, including effective communication and client interaction
- Prior work in a professional dog training or K9 training environment is a plus
