Duties

• Assist in meal preparation and food handling, ensuring all dishes meet quality and safety standards
• Support food safety management by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety regulations in all kitchen activities
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting, moving supplies, and organizing kitchen stations.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
• Contribute to food service by plating dishes accurately and efficiently for delivery or dine-in guests
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Support kitchen operations as needed through line work, prep work, dish work and cleaning.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and safety standards in production is a plus
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and effectively
• Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a positive attitude towards culinary tasks
• Prior catering or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
