Duties
- Prepare and assemble baked goods, including cookies, macarons, cakes, and nicer desserts for our Speakeasy below
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications
- Package baked items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Handle food production tasks such as mixing, measuring ingredients, and operating bakery equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers with product selections, answer questions about ingredients or baking processes, and provide excellent service
- Support catering orders and special event preparations by assembling baked goods and ensuring timely delivery
Experience
- Prior experience in baking, pastry arts, or food production is required; additional training will be provided for motivated learners
- Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and food handling safety practices is required.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and decorating tools enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Experience in customer service within the food industry or restaurant environment is highly valued
- A background in culinary arts or catering demonstrates your commitment to quality food preparation and presentation
- Understanding of baking principles support efficient workflow and product consistency
- Previous roles involving food safety compliance or kitchen experience prepare you for success in maintaining high standards

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
