Role Description The Associate Attorney will work on a full-time, on-site basis at the firm’s Tulsa, OK office. This role includes drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other filings. The Associate Attorney will assist in case strategy, attend client meetings, and provide legal advice under the supervision of senior attorneys. Typical responsibilities also include participating in negotiations, communicating with clients and opposing counsel, and supporting attorneys in hearings, depositions, and other proceedings. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced law firm environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law or a demonstrated interest in this or other relevant practice areas.
- Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice in collaboration with supervising attorneys.
- Proficiency in legal Research, including use of legal databases and preparation of concise research memoranda.
- Effective Negotiation skills, including the ability to advocate for client interests and seek practical resolutions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission in good standing to the Oklahoma Bar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting and editing abilities.
- High level of professionalism, ethical judgment, and commitment to client service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff while managing priorities and deadlines independently.
- Prior law firm or clerkship experience is preferred but not required.
