What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at SECOR?
SECOR, a leading distributor of High Density Polyethylene pipe, McElroy Fusion Equipment, and a manufacturer of custom fabricated fittings, has an opening for a Machinist/ Fitting Operator at our office located at 17321 Groeschke Rd Houston, TX 77084. The position will entail helping with the fabrication of HDPE fittings, as well as, other various warehouse duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication of fittings through use of HDPE Butt Fusion Machines, CNCs, as well as, Lathes.
- Help with the repair of fusion equipment, tapping tools, steel and polyethylene squeeze tools
- Assist with various warehouse related activities
Requirements
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves) is required
- Ability to read/speak in English is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug test
