What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volvo Parts Support Staff position at Secor Auto Center?
Responsibilities:
- Working with service technicians and advisors to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service
- Track inventory (incoming and outgoing parts,) and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain parts in appropriate storage areas, maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
- Handle parts payment collection and make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service order.
- Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
- Provide a high level of service to internal and external customers and work with technicians to fill repair orders.
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information to customers.
Schedule:
- Monday To Friday
- 8:00AM-4:30PM
Qualifications:
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Must follow all company policies and procedures and report all accidents to your manager or HR.
- Maintains professional appearance and a neat work area.
