Purpose of the Position
As a Commercial Water Treatment Specialist, you are responsible for understanding water challenges and introducing water treatment solutions. In this role, you will work with both existing and new customers throughout New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts.
You will set appointments from a combination of company-provided and self-generated leads, support existing customers, and drive new customer growth. You will also help maintain and elevate our high level of customer satisfaction and strong referral base.
You will work closely with our current commercial sales specialist, collaborating on opportunities and helping expand our commercial presence.
Role
Understand water chemistry and treatment options to educate current and potential customers on solutions to improve their water quality. Use company tools to understand customer needs and guide them through the right solution.
Evaluate water conditions, discuss customer expectations, and develop tailored treatment solutions. Document customer details and project information in our company database, requiring comfort working within a system and maintaining accurate records.
Design, sell, and document successful water treatment system solutions. Provide exceptional customer communication and follow through. Other responsibilities as required.
Responsibilities
Training and certifications are an important part of this role. Participate in ongoing training and successfully pass the WQA Certified Water Treatment Specialist exam. Act with a high level of integrity, recommending solutions that align with the customer’s water quality and long-term needs.
Respond promptly to all leads, with a goal of same business day follow-up. Set appointments and qualify opportunities. Meet with clients on-site to understand their water challenges, test water or collect samples, and complete the commercial site evaluation form.
Complete install and transaction details by identifying expectations and requirements from both the customer and Secondwind perspective, managing or working with subcontractors, and providing all relevant details.
Develop relationships to support business growth through networking, referrals, and ongoing customer engagement.
