What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sound Technician position at Second Song?
*This is a per hourly rate job, not a full time position.
*Estimating 1-2 events per week (typically one weekends) at around 6-12 hours per event.

Looking For
We are looking for a reliable, fun person with Sound Tech experience to help us with our live bands with DJ setup. If you have any any live sound experience you could be a fit! Our Sound Techs represent our brands and are also trained to put their best foot forward. Ideally, you are someone who loves the events industry and working with people. You understand the physical and hard work that may come with working in events, but you love the energy and atmosphere of it all.
Requirements
-Technical experience (knowing how to set up speakers, some lighting equipment, Dj set up, etc)
- Production experience is helpful
- Audio experience is a bonus!
- You must have a car you are comfortable transporting gear with
- Must be able to work weekends
Responsibilities
- Assisting DJ's; You will be assisting our DJ's at the events in setting up their gear and working with the DJ to ensure the event is running smoothly
- Event Gear: You will be helping to setup other production equipment such as cold sparklers, lightings, turntables, DJ sets, etc. that we need for our events
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $34.56 per hour
