Kennel Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated Kennel Technician with a passion for animals to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Position is a great part-time or extra side job. Pay is hourly and based off experience, job position, and average amount of hours per week.

We are looking for availability Monday- Friday 1:00pm-8pm. Average 15-25 hours a week. 18 Years and older.

Responsibilities:

• Handle general care tasks such as feeding, treatments, cleaning, and bathing of the animals
• Assist in restraining animals for grooming
• Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
• Reception, take payments, check pets in and out
• Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
• Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment
• Effectively operate in a team environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
• Previous experience in customer service
• Passion to help and treat animals in our community
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm manner
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Show ability for good attendance
