What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychotherapist (LCSW, CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, LMFT, AMFT) position at Second Draft Psychotherapy?
Be a Therapist. Build Something Better.
Most therapy jobs promise “support” and deliver burnout.
We’re building something different.
Second Draft Psychotherapy is a modern, ACT-informed practice focused on helping clients move beyond symptom management and actually change their lives. We work with anxiety, intrusive thoughts, compulsive patterns, and we care deeply about doing therapy well.
We’re growing and looking for thoughtful, grounded therapists who want to do meaningful work without getting buried in admin, chaos, or mediocrity.
Second Draft Psychotherapy
- $30–$60 per clinical hour, depending on experience
- Steady referrals (we actively market, we will build up your schedule)
- Admin billing handled for you
- Flexible schedule (part-time or full-time options)
- Telehealth across Utah eventual optional in-office sessions
- Consultation support
- Professional development support (especially ACT and evidence-based approaches)
Translation:
You focus on therapy. We handle the rest.
About the Practice
Second Draft Psychotherapy is built on a simple idea:

We primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with structured, evidence-based approaches (including ERP when appropriate), to help clients build psychological flexibility and take meaningful action.
We’re not a “we treat everything” practice.
We’re focused. Intentional. And we care about outcomes.
