Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture and large items from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and proper placement.
- Support the delivery driver in navigating routes efficiently, helping to load and secure items for transport.
- Use manual lifting techniques to move heavy furniture safely, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Help with organizing and preparing items for delivery, including verifying orders and ensuring accuracy.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to load, transport, and unload goods at multiple locations throughout the day.
- Treat customers and their homes with respect
- Help set up furniture in customer's homes when needed
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude toward clients.
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with moving heavy items confidently and safely.
- Experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles; valid driver’s license required.
- Delivery driver experience preferred, especially route driving with a focus on efficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards.
