Join Our Pack Our 501(c)3 animal rescue organization is currently hiring full-time, part-time, and weekend kennel workers for our Verplanck, NY shelter. We are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support for animals in need. We are a passionate and dynamic organization committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our dogs and staff. Shifts are 8am-1pm and 2:45pm-7:45pm, 7 days a week. Must be available to work weekends.
Requirements:
- Passion for animal welfare
- Ability to handle and care for dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and live in New York.
Responsibilities:
- Daily care of animals including feeding, walking, enrichment and maintaining cleanliness of living areas.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to appropriate staff.
- Supervise play yard to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry friends.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
