Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Strengthen Relationships: Engage with current donors to deepen their commitment to our mission and discover new opportunities for support.
- Outreach to Potential Donors: Call area businesses and individuals to invite them to join our growing network of supporters.
- Innovate and Inspire: Develop creative strategies to connect with donors and keep them excited about the impact of their contributions.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and executing fundraising events that showcase the vital work of Second Chance.
- Donation Coordination: Manage incoming donations—both financial and in-kind. Assist donors and delivery drivers during the intake process, ensuring smooth operations.
- Pet Food Pantry Oversight: Help stock shelves, organize donations, and distribute supplies effectively to those picking up to distribute. Play a hands-on role in keeping the pantry running efficiently.
- Storytelling and Impact Sharing: Collaborate with our team to share the inspiring stories of how donor contributions improve the lives of pets and families in our community.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays for special events. This is an in person position.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in donor relations, fundraising, or sales is needed and preference will be to applicants that have done donor solicitation and prospect research experience.
- A natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who loves connecting with people. (done via telephone, email, and in person)
- Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A team player who is excited to support community-focused initiatives.

What We Offer:
- Competitive pay: $48,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year (based on experience and hours).
