Position Description: Procurement Manager – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.
Location: Doral, FL
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from planning through contract closeout
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies aligned with program needs
- Conduct market research to identify qualified vendors and sourcing options
- Lead vendor negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms
- Manage contracts and ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS requirements
- Perform cost analysis and support budgeting decisions
- Coordinate with internal teams to align procurement with project timelines
- Maintain procurement documentation and support audit readiness
- Monitor vendor performance and manage supplier relationships
- Ensure procurement activities meet federal compliance and reporting standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
OR 5 (five) years of equivalent experience in procurement management - Experience managing procurement activities in a federal or DoD environment
- Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
- Experience with contract management and vendor negotiations
- Experience conducting market research and cost analysis
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and compliance audits
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience supporting complex or multi vendor programs
- Experience aligning procurement strategies with cost and performance goals
- Experience working with supply chain logistics in a regulated environment
- Experience supporting audit readiness and procurement reporting
Certifications:
- Required: None
- Preferred: Certified Federal Contracts Manager CFCM, Certified Professional in Supply Management CPSM
