What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Recruitment Specialist position at SEC Clinical Research?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Recruitment Specialist to join our team of Recruitment Specialists at the SEC Clinical Research (SECCR). SECCR performs clinical trials under contract with a wide range of pharmaceutical companies - and this position is responsible for identifying suitable subjects, followed by phone contact and discussion of the clinical trial opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be one with prior job experience that required assessment of medical records and/or clinic notes, as well as an individual with excellent attention to detail. The candidate will enjoy the challenge of identifying candidates meeting multiple inclusion and exclusion criteria, and informing suitable subjects about the clinical trial by phone. This position can be either a standard full time position or a part-time with more flexible hours. This position does not require any evening/night/weekend/holiday hours. An RN or RN/BSN certification is necessary based on the complexity of many of our clinical trials. Prior experience in clinical research, or recruiting, is not required. ALL APPLICANTS WITHOUT AN RN OR RN/BSN certification will be rejected.
About SEC Clinical Research (SECCR):
SECCR contracts with pharmaceutical companies developing new medications for a variety of conditions. We address a wide range of therapeutic areas include cardiology, respiratory, women's health, vaccines, pediatrics, obesity/metabolic nephrology and ophthalmology. We see research subjects in Dothan, Tuscaloosa and Pensacola - our Recruitment Division is located in Andalusia where this position will be based.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Using the criteria specified by the pharmaceutical company sponsoring the trial to identify potential research subjects qualified for the study
2. Engage potential subjects by phone with the objective of assessing and encouraging interest in study participation
Required Skills and Background:
1. Detail oriented - many aspects of this job require attention to detail
2. This position REQUIRES an RN or RN/BSN
3. At least 2 years of clinical experience.
4. Excellent phone skills
CLINICAL RESEARCH EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED.
Compensation
Please note the pay range is for an RN or RN/BSN. Length and breadth of clinical experience will determine the rate offered to specific candidates.
Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour
