SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY This race track located in Sebring, Florida, is America’s oldest road racing track, with over six decades of storied history. It hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March on the 3.74-mile road course. The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the four endurance races on the IMSA schedule. Sebring International Raceway seeks part-time / event-based Corner Marshals based in our Sebring, Florida race track. Corner Workers are stationed at various points around the race track and are responsible for observing and monitoring track conditions and communicating with drivers by using flags to warn of track conditions and provide assistance in case of any collisions, accidents or track problems. Duties include but are not limited to: Observe, monitor and assess track surface conditions. Provide consistent information to drivers using racing flags and signals. Observe competitors for driving behavior and their cars mechanical condition. Help drivers and others in an incident. Communicate information to radio tower, stewards, and emergency medical responders. Required skills/experience: High school diploma and racing knowledge and experience. Ability to work independently in a faced paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends and work in all types of weather.
