What are the responsibilities and job description for the Working Maintenance Supervisor position at Sebring Condominium?
The Bluffs of Sebring, LLC, is a 55 Community seeking a Working Maintenance Supervisor to provide oversight of daily operations involving condominium and villa buildings maintenance as well as landscape management.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven supervisory experience leading a team in total property maintenance
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work in typical Florida weather conditions
- Has demonstrated strong leadership and effective communication skills with employees and other clients
- Possess mechanical and technical skills necessary for typical maintenance of buildings infrastructure
- Extensive knowledge of lawn maintenance practices and equipment operation
- Plan and oversee the daily activities of both the building maintenance and the landscaping crew to ensure performance meets desired standards
- Conduct regular inspections of the total property noting immediate needs of repair or replacement
- Conduct follow-up and inspections of completed work
- Monitor and direct employee workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide oversight of training to ensure acceptable and safe performance
- Provide oversight and management of a stores inventory for spare parts to include proper accounting of withdrawals and reordering
- Enforce employee policies and procedures ensuring adherence to applicable OSHA safety standards
- Ensure any work undertaken by Bluffs employees conform to Highlands County and State of Florida requirements
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained ready for use
- Document completed work noting areas for further monitoring or in further need of repairs
- Ensure all work orders are reviewed and prioritized daily
- Ensure all work orders are properly documented and recorded when completed
- $28-32 per hour based on prior experience
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
