Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental assessments and surveys to identify potential risks and impacts
- Collect and analyze data related to air, water, and soil quality
- Use GIS (Geographic Information System) software to map and analyze environmental data
- Assist in the development and implementation of environmental management plans
- Conduct research on environmental regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with environmental standards
- Provide technical support for environmental monitoring and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on environmental findings
Skills:
- Proficiency in GIS software for data analysis and mapping
- Strong data collection and analysis skills
- Knowledge of SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) for stormwater management
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry environmental regulations
- Project management skills to oversee environmental projects
- CAD (Computer-Aided Design) proficiency for creating environmental plans and drawings
- Research skills to stay updated on environmental trends and regulations
- Project engineering experience for managing environmental projects from conception to completion
- Experience in stream and river restoration projects
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community members
