Job Overview: Hair Salon Professional (Full-Service Cosmetologist and Barbers– No Nail Services)
We are seeking a talented cosmetologist to join our dynamic hair salon team. This role focuses on providing a wide range of hair and beauty services permitted under a cosmetology license, excluding nail services. Our ideal candidate is passionate about hair care, styling, and enhancing clients’ confidence through high-quality service and personalized experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional hair services including cutting, coloring, highlighting, balayage, styling, blowouts, and treatments
- Perform chemical services such as perms, relaxers, and keratin treatments
- Offer scalp treatments and hair care consultations tailored to individual client needs
- Provide additional cosmetology services such as makeup application, waxing, and skincare (if applicable under license)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with state regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
- Stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and products in the beauty industry
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hair cutting, coloring, and styling
- Strong knowledge of hair care products and techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
