About the Role
As an Account Executive at Seba Metals, you will be on the front lines of our revenue growth. You'll prospect and develop new accounts, nurture existing client relationships, and serve as a trusted advisor to buyers in the construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. This is an on-site, full-time role based in Houston — ideal for a hungry, self-motivated sales professional eager to build a career in the steel and metals industry.
Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers and purchasing managers within the steel industry: distributors and manufacturers.
-Serve as the primary point of contact for core accounts, providing timely quotes, order updates, and market intelligence.
-Monitor and communicate steel pricing trends, import lead times, and inventory availability to help clients make informed buying decisions
-Track and manage your sales pipeline using Salesforce, maintaining accurate records of calls, meetings, and deal stages
-Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
-2 years of B2B sales or business development experience (experience in steel, metals, commodities, or industrial products is a plus)
-Proven ability to build relationships and close deals in a consultative sales environment
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with confidence in client-facing settings
-Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); Salesforce experience preferred
-Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret pricing data and market trends
