As an Entertainment Coordinator, you’ll enthusiastically represent SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- Process work orders and schedule team assignments for the Creative Services area of the Entertainment Dept.
- Liaison for park departments requesting work from the Sign Shop and Scenic Carpenters.
- Meet with show producers to define scope of work and timeline for events and festivals.
- Budget Tracking/ Reconciling.
- Defines SOW, sources vendors, project bids, requisitions PO's.
- Work with Accounts Payable to reconcile PO’s and invoicing.
- Work closely with Leadership team to manage and track expenses.
- Models company trainings related to guest interactions and animal areas.
- Occasionally may assist other locations and areas throughout the park as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
- 20.00 USD Hourly
What it takes to succeed:
- 1 years of experience in project management and budget management
- Experience working with theatrical workshops, sign shops, or carpenter shops preferred
- Experience working in a Theme park preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Customer Service experience
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Must possess a proficient knowledge of the use of computers and professional programs including Microsoft office and excel.

- Able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
- Maintains a friendly, respectful attitude with coworkers and guests. Able to adapt to multiple communication styles and personalities.
- Able to work indoors in a seated position for extended periods of time.
- Openly accepts performance critique and feedback and adapts accordingly.
- Work a flexible schedule/hour based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
- Flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities
- Ability to maintain a SeaWorld driver’s license and operate a company vehicle preferred
- Valid California driver's license preferred. Visiting students and military must have valid driver's license from state of residency and able to provide a copy of the DMV report.
Hours & Availability:
- May be scheduled up to 28 hours per week
- Monday-Friday, during holidays, with occasional weekends as business requires
- Occasional overtime.
