What you get to do:
As a Water Quality Automation Technician, you will provide key support for our year-round park operational needs. You will:
- Perform routine inspections of all Water Quality Life Support Systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems.
- Set up and install systems for new and existing units.
- Perform bench and field repair.
- Plan workload with minimal supervision.
- Train others in general system operations and functions.
- Strictly adhere to all safety procedures.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors and our Guests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of electrical controls experience
- Advanced experience working with VFD’s, PLC’s and controllers
- Ability to write Delta code
- Familiar with computer automated systems & the associated equipment
- Familiar with repairing ozonators
- Good understanding of blueprints and schematic diagrams
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good mechanical skills required
- Advance experience in installing conduit (PVC, EMT, Rigid) and low voltage raceways preferred
- Excellent communication and math skills
What else is important:
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs.
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed.
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes. Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals.
- Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
- 28.00 - 34.00 USD per hour
