What are the responsibilities and job description for the G&A Shipping - Shipping/Receiving Clerk position at Seaway Plastics?
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Receiving all new inventory and RMA’s
- Work station cleanliness
- FIFO
- Packing/kitting
- Pull to order
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have attention to detail when receiving goods
- Ensure product is put away in the correct location and transferred in IQMS
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and a safe work environment
- Pull oldest stock first. First in first out (FIFO)
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out correctly
- Ensure product is packed correctly to ensure no damage in transit
- Pull exact quantities for each order. If a different quantity is to ship contact the customer service rep
- Build skids properly, 2-straps and shrink-wrap not overhanging the pallet
- Ability to operate forklifts (after training) to move, load and unload product
- Ability to pick-up at least 50 pounds by hand on a regular basis
- Ability to climb ladders to pull product
- ERP experience is beneficial
