Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Diver/Tender to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct underwater inspections, repairs, and maintenance of pipelines, structures, and equipment using commercial diving techniques.
- Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and trucks to support construction and maintenance activities on-site.
- Perform rigging tasks for lifting and securing heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and cathodic protection systems to execute assigned tasks accurately.
- Manage corrosion control measures including corrosion management and cathodic protection maintenance to prolong asset lifespan.
- Follow all safety protocols, occupational safety regulations, and environmental standards diligently during outdoor work environments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors to coordinate operations and report progress or issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the energy & utilities sector or construction environment with a focus on maintenance or corrosion control projects.
- Valid commercial truck driving license with experience operating trucks in industrial settings.
- Skilled in rigging, welding, electrical resistivity surveys, pipe locating, and the operation of heavy equipment such as forklifts.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools for maintenance work.
- Strong understanding of occupational safety regulations including OSHA standards; committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Outdoor work experience in challenging conditions with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
- Knowledge of oil & gas industry operations is highly desirable.
