Schedule: 4-5 days a week Includes Saturdays
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled Acupuncturist to join our fast-paced outpatient orthopedic practice. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity to work closely with post-operative orthopedic patients, athletes, and active individuals, while collaborating daily with Physical Therapists and Orthopedic Providers in an integrated, team-based environment.
The ideal candidate is passionate about musculoskeletal care, enjoys a high-volume clinical setting, and thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered model of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide orthopedic and sports-focused acupuncture treatments for post-operative and non-operative patients
- Treat a wide range of conditions including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, joint dysfunction, and soft tissue injuries
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and clinical staff to develop and execute coordinated treatment plans
- Perform hands-on treatments tailored to each patient’s functional goals and recovery timelines
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards
- Educate patients on treatment plans, expected outcomes, and adjunctive self-care strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment
- Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary case discussions as needed
Qualifications
- Active state licensure as an Acupuncturist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong background or interest in orthopedic and sports acupuncture
- Experience working with post-operative patients preferred
- Excellent manual skills and strong clinical reasoning abilities
- Ability to thrive in a busy, high-energy outpatient setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, patient-focused demeanor
