SeaView Community Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Food Service Worker to join our team at the Recovery Center in Seward, Alaska. About SeaView Recovery CenterThe Recovery Center provides residential and outpatient substance use treatment services to individuals seeking to build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Position Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals for clients and staff in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Assist with food preparation, storage, inventory management, and kitchen organization.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support special events, holiday meals, and community activities as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Recovery Center staff to create a welcoming dining experience for clients.
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and compassion in all interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous food service, restaurant, cafeteria, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move food supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
