The Sr. IT Network & Cloud Services Manager is a strategic, hands-on technology leader responsible for overseeing IT staff, next-generation cloud services, and day-to-day network operations across multiple Mission sites. This role ensures the reliability, security, and scalability of the Mission’s hybrid infrastructure—including on-premises network systems and cloud platforms such as Azure, Office 365, SharePoint Online, VOIP communications platforms, Zendesk, and CRM systems (preference for Virtuous).This position collaborates closely with department leaders to understand organizational needs, drive innovation, modernize systems, and deliver technology solutions that reduce downtime, streamline operations, and support growth. This role also supports the Mission’s growing data ecosystem by collaborating on the management and integration of relational databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake. The Senior Manager provides coaching and leadership development to their team, serving as a thought leader who brings fresh ideas and champions best practices in cloud adoption, cybersecurity, and end-user experience.This position develops troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime, decrease maintenance costs, creates. strategies for upgrading the Mission network infrastructure and software whenever a new update is available. Implement plans to ensure the Mission’s network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem. This role must have extensive knowledge of computer hardware, network design, security technology, and cloud networking.How you will serve Network & Cloud Infrastructure ManagementOversee, maintain, and optimize mission-wide IT networks, cloud services, and infrastructure across multiple sites.Manage hybrid technology operations spanning:o Azure AD / Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Onlineo Cloud-based communication platforms (Microsoft Teams, Net2Phone, Nextiva)o Zendesk or comparable cloud ticketing/help desk systemsSupport integration, access governance, and user provisioning across cloud CRM platforms, preferably Virtuous.Develop and execute strategies for network modernization, cloud migration, scalability, and security.Collaborate with data and analytics leadership to support relational database environments, including SQL-based systems and Snowflake, ensuring secure access controls and data connectivity from applications.Leadership & Staff DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop IT staff including network administrators, technicians, and help desk specialists.Provide structured opportunities for staff growth, certifications, cross-training, and leadership development.Foster a collaborative, forward-thinking, and service-oriented team environment.Strategic & Operational ResponsibilitiesPartner with leadership to assess future technology needs and plan upgrades that align with mission priorities.Implement cloud governance, security policies, and best practices across systems and networks.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, cloud services, or system integrations.Develop troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and enhance user experience.Prepare and report on IT budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.Manage vendor relationships and cloud-service subscriptions.Ensure continuity of operations and disaster recovery readiness for both networks and cloud platforms.Collaborate with data and analytics leadership to support relational database environments, including SQL-based systems and Snowflake, ensuring secure access controls and data connectivity from applications. Systems Support & End-User EnablementOversee configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:o Windows Server environments, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory / Azure ADo Firewalls, routers, switches, wireless networkso SharePoint, Teams, Exchanged Online, and O365 applications Support onboarding operations and develop cloud-based training materials for end users.Run regular operational reports and communicate findings to leadership.Mission, Collaboration & ComplianceEnsure all IT operations uphold Mission policies and procedures.Participate in organizational meetings, initiatives, and cross-functional efforts as required.Perform additional duties as needed to support the Mission’s success.How you qualify RequiredBachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, or related field; or an associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant networking experience with supervisory duties.
