What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Seattle Public Schools?
- Prepare stock identification tags bearing coded information; place stock in proper storage locations.
- Gather items from stock, verify descriptions and issue materials and equipment to fill appropriate requisitions.
- Operate self- propelled lift trucks, hand trucks, dollies and other loading and moving equipment used in warehouse activities.
- Clean warehouse and maintain facility.
- Take physical inventories.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Fill walk thru orders for Trades people.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Arithmetic Computations
- Read Manufacturer labels
- Customer service skills for walk thru
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged lifting and walking
- Ability to work as a team

EDUCATION:
High School Graduation or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Previous work experience in retail clerking, warehousing and shipping, inventory maintenance, material handling (Forklift) equipment operations or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Valid State of Washington Driver's License

Mobile Equipment Operations Card
CLEARANCES:
Criminal Justice Fingerprint Background Check
Salary : $56,430 - $66,435
