Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Clinical Psychologist role at Seattle Pacific University, located in Seattle, WA. The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention services to students. Responsibilities also include developing and implementing wellness programs, collaborating with faculty and staff, maintaining accurate and confidential documentation, and contributing to campus mental health initiatives. The role involves close interactions with a diverse student body, aimed at promoting emotional well-being and resilience within the university community.

Qualifications
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing individual and group therapy
  • Skills in crisis intervention, case formulation, and creating treatment plans
  • Strong interpersonal communication, active listening, and empathy skills
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and interventions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and diverse populations
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
  • Current licensure as a clinical psychologist or eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Washington
  • Familiarity with the mental health challenges and needs of college students is preferred
