The Division of Education, in the College of Humanities, Education and the Arts seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach the course EDAD 6588: Supervision of Instruction, fall quarter 2026. This graduate level course examines principles, practices, and procedures needed for the supervision of instruction with emphasis on the principal's instructional leadership role within public and private P-12 schools of Washington State.

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Education (discipline), or
• Terminal degree in related field, or excellent instructional skills
• Terminal degree in another field with heavy emphasis on education
• A personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasm about supporting SPU's mission , alignment with the University's Statement of Faith , and willingness to accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian community.
• A comfortability discussing the intersection of faith and supervision of instruction with students

The salary for adjunct faculty starts at $876/credit in the College of Humanities, Education and the Arts.
