Position Overview
The Entry-Level Parts Clerk will assist in managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring efficient distribution of parts for both internal service teams and retail customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Parts Inventory & Management
- Receive, check, and stock incoming parts shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts
- Organize parts storage areas for easy accessibility
Customer & Service Team Support
- Assist customers and technicians in locating and ordering parts
- Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges in an accurate and timely manner
- Provide basic product information and pricing to customers
Administrative & Order Processing
- Enter inventory data and transactions into the system
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and stock levels
- Assist with vendor communications for order tracking and part availability
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Basic knowledge of inventory management or order processing (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with boats or marine parts is a plus, but not required
- Valid Driver’s License preferred

Paid Time Off:
- Sick Leave: Accrues at 1 hour per 40 hours worked
- Vacation Accrual: 1 week after the first year, 2 weeks starting the second year
- Paid Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
