What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Part-Time) Psychiatric Provider position at Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center?
Duties include (but are not limited to):-Part-time, mostly onsite, but can include some offsite call from home-Supervision of TMS and esketamine staff during treatment sessions, specifically seeking someone available late-afternoons-Direct patient care only in an urgent psychiatric or medical situation (rare) Benefits:-Compensation is hourly or daily, differential rates depending on duties performed-Malpractice insurance-Training in basic principles of TMS and esketamine-conduct your own private practice visits and/or other business using our office Required Qualifications:-MD or DO degree (or international equivalent)-Completion of accredited residency (does not need to be psychiatry)-Eligible for Washington State medical license OR-PA degree-Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants-Eligible for Washington State PA license OR-MSN degree, DNP degree, or other ARNP-level equivalent- Eligible for Washington State ARNP license Optional Qualifications which are favorable:-Experience working in acute clinical setting(s), psychiatric or otherwise-Experience working with psychiatric patients-Previous formal training in brain stimulation/interventional psychiatry-Experience with TMS or esketamineCompany DescriptionSeattleNTC employs adult and child/adolescent psychiatrists, some of whom have additional fellowship training in neuropsychiatry or geriatric psychiatry, as well as 2 PAs and several psychotherapists.
