Seattle Choice Transport is hiring recent Class A CDL graduates for our paid Driver Trainee Program supporting the Amazon Freight Partner network in Indianapolis.

No previous professional Class A driving experience is required for candidates accepted into our program.

Start at $22/Hour During Training

You'll receive paid, hands-on training designed to help you safely transition from CDL school to professional driving.

Training includes:

• Hands-on tractor-trailer driving
• Backing and maneuvering
• Coupling and uncoupling
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Trip planning and Hours of Service
• Amazon operations and technology
• Real-world ride-alongs with experienced trainers
• Safety coaching and mentorship

Once you successfully complete training and are approved to drive solo, you can transition into one of our full driver positions.

3 Career Paths After Training

HOME DAILY

3 Days On / 4 Days Off

• 13-hour shifts
• Approximately 39 hours/week
• Home after every shift
• $45,000–$50,000 annual earning potential
• Additional shifts may be available

HOME EVERY OTHER DAY

Regional – 4 Days On / 4 Days Off

• Regular home time
• Sleeper-truck operation
• $60,000–$75,000 annual earning potential
• Overtime after 40 hours when applicable

5 DAYS OUT / 2 DAYS HOME

Regional / OTR

• Home every week
• Sleeper-truck operation
• Starting around $1,600 per week

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Recent CDL graduate
• At least 21 years old
• Acceptable driving record
• Must pass DOT physical
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Must successfully complete required background screening
• Comfortable using GPS, ELDs and smartphone applications
• Must meet DOT English-language proficiency requirements
• Safety-minded, dependable and ready to learn
