Under the direction of the Director, Physician Relations the primary role of the Physician Liaison is to develop and maintain effective relationships with referring providers by acting as a trusted and reliable resource for communication, information, and problem solving to ensure Seattle Children's is the referral site of choice for pediatric specialty care within our region. Physician Liaisons engage with organizational, service line, and clinical leadership to actively promote high-priority programs and services to referring provider audiences in their assigned territory. They provide input to Seattle Children's leadership regarding referring provider feedback and serve internally as a subject matter expert for their assigned territory.

Physician Liaisons help ensure overall effectiveness of the Physician Relations program through analyzing data and referral patterns and utilizing quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify opportunities and risks within assigned territory, in alignment with the Seattle Children's strategic plan. They develop and execute outreach plans that result in incremental referral increases from existing sources, maintain and enhance relationships with top referrers, and generate new referral sources as identified.

Physician Liaisons positively and professionally represents Seattle Children's, its programs, and medical staff to positively contribute to Seattle Children's reputation and market position.

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or health care, or equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing and/or health care. Minimum five (5) years proven experience in sales, customer service, business development, or physician relations. Per the driver's license requirement noted below, must have a driving record acceptable to Risk Management.

Required Credentials

Current Driver’s License for state of residence.

Preferred

Master’s degree in business or healthcare administration or ten (10) years of proven experience in sales, customer service, business development, or physician relations. Extensive experience developing and fostering effective relationships with referral sources. Experience developing and executing strategic outreach or business development plans. Experience utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to drive planning and decision-making.

Compensation Range

$88,786.00 - $133,180.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
