About the Role
The Manager of Yoga and Fitness will support the yoga and fitness experience at the Bouldering Project U District location. This part-time role helps shape class programming, assists in instructor coordination, and ensures high-quality, community-aligned offerings. In collaboration with the General Manager and the National Manager of Yoga & Fitness, the manager contributes to movement programming that aligns with our mission and community values.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design and coordination of weekly class schedules
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and supporting instructors
- Coordinate sub coverage and manage class logistics
- Track class attendance and gather member feedback
- Monitor and support instructor development through feedback and coaching
- Ensure studio readiness and address member experience concerns
- Collaborate on local programming aligned with national standards
- Represent Bouldering Project culture and values in all interactions
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Programming Team
- Partner with national leadership to support seasonal events and initiatives
- Support community events, cross-department programming, and brand-aligned campaigns
What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in yoga or group fitness environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Availability during evenings/weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Yoga or fitness teaching certification
- Experience coordinating programming or studio operations
- Familiarity with community-based or mission-driven organizations
- Experience supporting or mentoring instructors
- In addition to management hours, an ability to instruct 2 classes/week

This is a part-time, hourly position at roughly 20 hours/week. Compensation is based on experience and local market benchmarks. Perks include:
