Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Repairs / Purchasing Associate to join our supply chain and procurement team. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless acquisition of materials, parts, and services necessary for maintenance, repairs, and operational efficiency. As a key player in our procurement process, you will coordinate with suppliers, manage inventory levels, and utilize advanced ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to optimize sourcing strategies. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth production workflows and support our commitment to quality and timely service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Data enter Supplier Quotes.
- Field customer email and phone requests.
- Place Purchase Orders with Suppliers, follow-up and enter Supplier acknowledgements.
- Follow-up and expedite with Suppliers to receive delivery updates and shipments.
- Master Suppliers in ERP system and obtain all necessary Quality documentation.
- Scan and attach documentation into ERP system for all tasks.
- Manage and process purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely fulfillment.
- Learn additional tasks and responsibilities within Sales Department with additional training and experience.
- Coordinate with other staff in support of accounts to include: Expediting, Receiving and QA, Shipment Control and Invoicing, Customer Rejections, and others as needed.
- Maintain frequent contact with Customers and Suppliers by phone and email.
- Develop and maintain excellent working Customer and Supplier relations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Communication skills
- Self-motivated/Self-directed: can work independent of direct supervision
- Ability to use basic software tools and ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and aerospace parts.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Pay: $25.00 - $32.50 per hour
