What are the responsibilities and job description for the Custodian-Full Time-Summer position at Seats?
Seats Incorporated is seeking a custodian to work this summer at our Seats Vehicle Division located at 350 N. Dewey Street, Reedsburg. In this role, you will complete tasks to help maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting in production areas, offices, and common spaces.
- Break down and compact cardboard, dispose of waste and recyclables in all areas.
- Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other shared spaces by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Support facility upkeep by organizing storage areas, ordering supplies, and assisting with special cleaning projects.
- Take initiative in identifying areas that need attention without direct supervision.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours and lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently and proactively address cleaning needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly.
1st Shift: 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday
