Role & Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and rekey locks and door hardware for homes and businesses
- Set up and maintain master key and key-control systems
- Install, service, and open safes (where qualified)
- Handle emergency lockouts and urgent security calls
- Cut and duplicate keys; change combinations
- Maintain accurate records and inventory
Requirements
- 3 years professional locksmith experience (residential commercial; safe work a plus)
- Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with common locksmith tools and hardware
- Comfortable with both traditional and electronic/access control systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable, honest, and able to work independently and on-call as scheduled
Nice to Have
- Formal locksmith certifications and/or safe & vault training
- Experience with access control, key card, or smart lock systems
