We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in single-family homes, multi-family units, and residential remodel projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, fixtures, outlets, and equipment in residential structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to ensure compliant installations
- Diagnose electrical issues and perform effective troubleshooting and repairs
- Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, and new construction wiring
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical code requirements
- Collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and other team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
- Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Train and mentor apprentices when needed
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Arkansas)
- 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and other tight environments
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
