About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to take ownership of our collections function and help scale it as the business grows. This role combines hands-on management of partner accounts with the opportunity to build and lead a small team.

You’ll be on the front lines of partner communication, driving recoveries, overseeing payment plans, and ensuring that delinquency and bad debt stay within budgeted targets. At the same time, you’ll manage a Billing Clerk and help develop processes, reporting, and playbooks that make our collections function more effective and scalable.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives as a player–coach: comfortable rolling up their sleeves to resolve accounts directly, while also mentoring others and shaping a function.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of delinquent partner accounts, leading outreach and recovery efforts.
• Manage payment plans, coordinate escalations, and exercise judgment on write-offs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on payment flows, billing escalations, and recovery processes.
• Oversee relationships with third-party collections agencies.
• Track results and ensure delinquency and bad debt remain within budgeted targets.
• Manage and mentor a Billing Clerk, providing guidance on billing and collections outreach.
• Build repeatable processes, documentation, and reporting to help scale the AR function.
• Act as an escalation point for complex or high-risk partner cases.

What You’ll Bring

• 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit & Risk.
• Track record of successfully recovering delinquent accounts and managing payment plans.
• Experience exercising discretion on write-offs and balancing recovery with partner relationships.
• Strong communication skills—you’re confident speaking with partners and resolving sensitive billing issues.
• Hands-on experience with CRM/ERP tools (Salesforce a plus).
• Prior experience mentoring or managing others preferred, even in a small-team setting.
• Excited to build processes in a fast-moving, growing business.
