Afternoon Maintenance Associate

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including aisles, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas throughout the shift.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
• Monitor store conditions during peak hours and respond promptly to spills, hazards, or maintenance needs.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of store displays or events as needed.
• Support departments with cleaning and maintenance requests to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to management in a timely manner.
• Uphold company standards by helping provide a clean, safe, and pleasant shopping environment.

Requirements:
• Prior maintenance, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and safety procedures is a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for customers and staff.
